Destinations

FLORIDA

Hi it's Michael Tozzi reporting from the Smooth Music Cruise. I thought I'd mention some of the great places to grab a quick bite to eat and a cold beer while we were out of town.

Our first stop was Key West. While you're there you need to stop at the Hogs Breath Saloon and enjoy the food, crowd and entertainment, plus they have an internet camera so your friends can watch you have a great time from back home.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS

When you go to Nassau, Bahamas, one of the stops on the cruise, and if you go by ship, you'll dock right at Bay Street, New Providence and when you get off the boat you have to stop at Senor Frogs for a cold beer, something quick to eat and a bunch of fun ! They'll have you doing some unusual things there that will surprise even you !

Also, check out Fish Fry while in Nassau. There's a line of small buildings that serve some of the most incredible fried foods and some of the coldest beer you'll enjoy in Nassau. You'll also get to enjoy Junkanoo ! We in Philadelphia know it as the Mummers ! Colorful feathers, excited dancers and island rhythms that will make you forget ALL about your cares. Stop into Goldie's and have yourself some fried chicken. Youll swear it's the best you've ever had.

LONDON, ENGLAND

We just came back from London after having spent 5 days there with Nick Colionne Dave Koz and Brian Simpson. What a time we had ! We spent a day in London with Nick Colionne and captured footage for a new ijazzglobal.com series called " A Day in the Life'. We toured London on the Big Bus and saw some incredible things including Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, Big Ben, the Tower of London, and Harrod's just to name a few.

We also saw a great concert on Saturday evening at the Pizza Express in the Soho district of London. WOW ! Nick, Dave and Brian definitely brought their 'A' game from the U.S. and were helped out by the drummer from Incognito and the bass player from Acoustic Alchemy.

The food at the Pizza Express was awesome and the atmosphere was really incredible. It was very relaxed and alive with chatter.

The other place I would recommend would also be in Soho called Amalfi. We ate al fresco and drank wine, ate and watched people walk this trendy part of London for hours.

Thanks to Jimi King from Sky-FM for being a wonderful host at the Pizza Express and allowing us to capture footage of the shows for you to enjoy.

When in London there's lots of great places to visit, lots of wonderful food and always something going on.
