It's so wonderful to hear your voice again! I can't tell you how much I miss smooth jazz. Philadelphia radio has a big hole where smooth jazz is supposed to be. Thanks to you and ijazzglobal.com I can now get my smooth jazz fix another way. Keep up the great work and I hope to see at the Mosholu or Warm Daddy's very soon.

So glad you're back,

LaVerne

Hi Michael,

Finally a way to listen to Jazz during the work day.. I resort to a satelitte jazz station for driving but it's nice to hear your voice again.
I have been a huge WJJZ fan since it started in Philly and was really disappointed when Clear Channel pulled the plug.. again.. it was
not right for Philly to lose smooth jazz... but for now, a little piece of Philly is right again, at least for me :):) listening by stream..

Hugs,
Patty A.

Hello MIchael, and Happy New Year!!

I've been meaning to contact you ever since I started receiving the ijazzglobal emails.  I'm so happy you stayed committed to the music and found something after WJJZ.  I only wish there was a Philadelphia area station that supported the music because all you hear is the same tired rantings on all the stations.

Thanks for the New Year's Eve invite, but I'm afraid it's not possible this year as I've been out of work for a while. Maybe next time I hope.

Best wishes to you for a healthy, happy, and propserous new year.

Jerry D.

Dear Michael,

Thank you, thank you, thank you for playing all the wonderful Christmas/Holiday music. I have been thoroughly enjoying this…just wished I was able to get ijazzglobal in my car.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and your family!

Sincerely,

Tom M.

Hi Michael,

Love the music and the opportunity to hear music I would not have access to otherwise.  I live in Australia and this continent is a radio wasteland so you offer a fantastic alternative.  I am looking for exposure as well.  Please go www.nemomusicpublishing.com under recordings both Jazz and World.  Most of the music there is also available on iTunes and AmazonMp3.  I would appreciate any feedback you would care to give.

Sincerely, David Salisbury

Hi Michael,

I am here on a gloomy afternoon, reading and listening to you and the
music!  I say I'm in London, but that is a bit misleading, as we stay
in a town not far from London Heathrow Airport quite a distance from
the city of London.

Just wanted to say through the mid-day back in Philly, your voice is
coming through clearly over the internet.  Good hearing you.  When I
get the internet service in my room like this, it is relaxing to have
ijazzglobal streaming my way.

So, there you have my report from across the Atlantic on Nov 24th.

Don't eat too much turkey.

Jack

You don't know me but I was a fan of "smooth jazz" and when it disappeared from the air, I could not find that kind of music anywhere else.  I don't know if I can go to the Sunday Brunch, but certainly will try if at all possible.

I am glad to see that you are back and please let me know if I can listen to smooth jazz music anywhere else.  I listen to my own CDs of Botti, Kenny G and others to keep me company, the music on the radio is not as pleasant, let me know if you are back on the radio.

Best of luck to you.

Sincerely,

Mercedes S.

Michael,

I've been a fan of smooth jazz since the early 106.1 and later 97.5 days.  I guess it's an unfortunate sign of the times that what's being offered on these frequencies now is apparently more "demographically profitable" than what you brought to listeners on WJJZ. Thankfully, ijazzglobal is here to provide us with an alternative to all the mediocrity on the local FM Airways.

Keep up the good work.  I listen whenever I'm online, which is daily.  Any thought to putting out CDs as you did when you were on FM?  Thanks for a smooth 2009.  I would like to hope that one day you will again grace the local airways, if not, have a long and profitable run on the Web. I'll be logged on.

J. Cunningham

Michael,

Do you have any idea at all how much you have been missed! You will now be a part of my life again every single day! I will send your link to everyone on my mailing list!

Thanks Mike!

Hi Michael,

Here I am in Shanghai today..............10:25 a.m. in Philly and 12
hours later on Thursday night in Shanghai.  I arrived to sunny, hazy
skies and perhaps 75 degrees.  It was a pleasant temperature for a
walk around 5 p.m.  Now, I'm in for the night and listening to
ijazzglobal as I mellow out here in my tired state.

You just announced and are playing Bob Thompson "Promised Land."

How excited the people of Philly must be over the Phillies' win over
the Dodgers!!!  What are they calling the potential matchup with the
Yankees?  a "turnpike series?"

Keep the music streaming, my friend.

Cheers!

Jack

Hey Michael,  It's great to have Tozzi jazz back. I've been listening for about a month now at work in Flemington NJ and finally decided to contact you after hearing Jean Luc-Ponty just now. I remember seeing him at the "Main Point" back in the 70's. Hope you remember me (Cape May Jazz Fest. 2008, Rippingtons, our 25 anniversary).
Really would like to hear some Rippingtons. Have not heard them on Ijazzglobal yet.
Protect The Dream,

Hi Michael:

I will really appreciate I Jazz Global during my 2-week business trip to China next week. Thanks so much for enabling me to keep in touch with great smooth jazz and Philly during my trip.

With Great Appreciation,

Michael,

Went to Warm Daddy's last night for the first time with my husband and some friends.  Had a great time.  Music, food and entertainment was great.  Look forward to our next visit in November to see Edgardo Cintron.

Love the new "ijazzglobal.com" online listening.  Listen at work every day.  Really miss being able to listen in my car thou.  I have been a smooth jazz listern since the radio station started.  Do you now if we will ever be able to listen to Smooth Jazz on the radio again?

Anyway, keep up the great work at "ijazzglobal".

Melissa M.

Michael

I have been listening to the Chill Lounge since you put it on the internet.  Nice stuff.  It is on my computer all day.  Bill Burns a former colleague of yours at WJJZ introduced you to my wife and I at a Dave Koz reception in Washington Township before this Christmas concert a couple of years back.  Keep the smooth jazz going!!!!

YEAAA Michael!!

Have been following all the endeavors  since the VERY FIRST first day of WJJZ 106.1 SMOOTH JAZZ in Philadelphia.  Satellite radio has filled in the gaps......but since I found the new  iJazz it is like old times.  Welcome back ....thanks for broadcasting to my favorite spot again, as I sit in my favorite chair and listen!

kathie  g

Hi Mike,

I enjoy what you are doing via the computer.  I listen in when I can.  I was listening to David Sanborn's "The Dream" and thought of you.  I first learned about this piece of music back in the days of WJJZ 106.1.  I loved it then and love it still.  Thanks to you and all the folks who were behind WJJZ and smooth jazz for this area.

The music is special and I just love it.  Keep up doing what you are doing to preserve smooth jazz and all the artists who make this music possible.  I'm a Rippingtons, Dave Koz and other artist fN.  These folks make the best music in the world.

Bless you for all you do to keep this music alive.
Regards,
Roger

Sinatra and Joni ( ! )

Wish your programming mix was on air or syndicated. May have wider commercial appeal than the relative narrow (repetitive) playlists that have done in so many smooth jazz outlets across the country.

I hope you can continue to keep jazzglobal streaming.

Brayton

Hi Mike,

I've been a fan of yours from all the days that WJJZ went through in Philly.  I'm glad you have started this new avenue for listening to smooth jazz that I love.  Why smooth jazz is not more popular is beyond me.

I live in the Pennington, NJ area about 35 miles above Philly.

I listen through a laptop so I don't get the best fidelity.  I could add expensive speakers and if necessary I'll do that.

My best regards to you and all you are doing to help this music continue.
Regards,
Roger

Michael,

Isn't technology great !! Who would have thought you could broadcast a "radio" show from your backyard.

Good luck and success with ijazzglobal ....... as a long time Smooth Jazz listener (from the first day 106.1 signed on) I am so glad for what your doing. ENJOY Bermuda next week ... I'll be listening.

Ed

Michael:

Thanks for your most recent email...I registered to receive your newsletters. I heard about your new gig at the Tuesday night Jazz concerts at Wiggins Park. I talked to someone on your staff and got the new site and I have been listening ever since.

I enjoy listening on my computer...Its better than my car!! Better music too!

Ecstatic to see you are still around and spinning really great jazz!

Thanks for being true to your fans and sticking with Jazz!

Subject: HI Mike!

Michael  we miss you and the smooth jazz crew!

Will smotth jazz ever come back to Philadelphia and what can we do as fans to get it back on the air?

I have been lost in the same old radio stations (outside of satellite) and have missed the Smooth Jazz sound.  Thank you for this amazing access to the relaxing smooth sounds that I have missed listening to after long days.
I hope to visit Warm Daddys soon,
Tks so much!

Michael Tozzi ....

For so many, many years I listened to Smooth Jazz WJJZ 106.1 .... then Smooth Jazz 97.5 ... and I was upset that one of the things in life I enjoyed and counted on  had been taken off air, again.  In my opinion, there is no other station to listen to in the PHILADELPHIA area now.

I was exceptionally happy today when I came across an e-mail about Nicks upcoming show New Years' EVE in Philadelphia ... much to my delight I found YOU and your web-site    ijazzGlobal.com  I knew in my heart you would merge again, Thank You  from the bottom of my smooth jazz soul!  NO body does it better than you!

Now I can hook up my phone to listen in the car ... you thought of everything!

If there is anything I can do to support your smooth jazz effort, don't hesitate to ask ...
... telling everyone I know your back!!!

Many thanks,

Barbara

Dear Michael,
I was heartbroken when I lost WJJZ on the radio, couldn't believe it!  Now...so happy to find you on the web and listening to you here at work.  AHHHH!!!  So nice to have you back again.  Like a lost love that has returned!  Keep the music playing for many years to come,

Regards, Your Hunterdon County New Jersey fan, Laurie S.

Dear Michael,
I wanted to thank you for the informative newsletters that you send. It was one of those newsletters that helped me give my 18 year old daughter a great going away present ( she's moving to California in 3 weeks).

I was reading the last newsletter and saw that the Big Bad Voodoo Daddies were going to play Wiggins Park the next night. I wasn't very familiar with their music, but my daughter is a big fan of theirs. I decided that would be a great present for her. Not only did she get to see a great show, she got to meet the band, have her picture taken with them and get their autographs on the poster I purchased  for her. And not only did she have a great time, I also became a big fan.

Had it not been for your newsletter, I never would have known about the show, so thank you very much. And thank you also as I plan on going to see Nick Colionne next week.

                        Karl Lindenbaum

Hi Michael!!

Long time since we communicated. Listen to ijazzglobal.com all day. Great to hear your voice the last couple of days. Hope all is well.

Regards,

Pete Flamini

Michael -
Finally, a voice!  I never knew how much I missed hearing it until it was not there.  Good to hear you "on the radio" again.
Have fun in Bermuda.  Talk to you when you get back.

Glenn

Hey Michael,                                                                                                                                                                                         Sue and I were wondering what happened to you? I got this news letter today and saw your name as I scrolled through it. We miss you and Wjjz soooo much and still can't believe we have resorted to listening to B101 and my new station BEN95.7.  We hope everything is going well for you and your family, especially in these tough times! We kind of figured you'd land on your feet since you are such a wonderful person and have always been a good friend and very nice to Sue and I. Well I won't waste time babbling on but we just wanted to let you know we will listen when possible and will try to make one of the shows to hopefully see and talk to you in person. Best of luck in everything that you do and hope to see ya soon.

                                                                                                                                                       Your friends,
                                                                                                                                                        Bob & Sue Dugary

Michael,
I found an inexpensive way to listen to ijazzglobal on any FM radio by connecting an FM transmitter to the output of my computers sound card. With a "y" connector and a FM transmitter from C Crane (http://www.ccrane.com/radios/fm-transmitters/fm-transmitter.aspx) I can enjoy Smooth Jazz on any FM radio in my house (driveway & patio also).

Hi Michael,

Wishing you and the lovely Mrs. Tozzi a relaxing 4th of July weekend.
I am on back-to-back trips into Brussels this week aboard Continental's 777.

I sure do enjoy the streaming smooth jazz on ijazzglobal.com while I am on my layovers.
I recently met someone in the Lehigh Valley who enjoys smooth jazz as much as I do and
turned him onto ijazzglobal.com.

Jack N.

Hi Michael
I was so impressed with your site and sounds - I created a little banner for IJAZZGLOBAL on my site.  Check the bottom portion of the home page, link below.  Its a new site and a hobby of mine.  Writing to you from the SF area - has not sunk in yet, but will miss KKSF.  Cheers to IJAZZGLOBAL!  Teriffic website!

Cheers

Hi Michael,

I'm glad to be on your email list.  My husband and I live in South Florida and a few months back we lost radio station WLVE Love 94 (93.9FM), a Clear Channel station.  Love 94 had been a smooth jazz/adult contemporary station for over 20 years, and we were sad and angry when they switched it to another format.  We had to make several attempts to get through to them to voice our opinion, but we did.  Were all the other s.j. stations that got axed Clear Channel stations too????  Someone in power at Clear Channel must have a real agenda against the music, which is the only kind of music we truly enjoy!

We just got back from the Jacksonville Jazz Festival last weekend, where we enjoyed the sounds of Jazz Attack and Guitars & Saxes.  We go to see Euge Groove whenever he performs in the state of Florida.  You're in for a real treat next week when their show comes to Philly.  Enjoy!

Again, thanks for adding me to your email list.  I just wish I could listen online at work, but the office manager says streaming slows down the server, so we can't listen to the radio online.  Too bad--it sure would make the day go by faster and a whole lot smoother!

Take care,

Kathleen & Larry in West Palm Beach, FL

Hi Micheal,
My husband and I attended the Guitar and Saxes concert on June 5th at the Keswick.  What a fantastic show!!!  We had an amazing time.....so much talent and a fun filled evening!

Thanks very much
Susan and James

Hi Michael,

I have been a fan of yours since inception with WJJZ. I am happy you are still around and doing your thing. I will stop by at Warmdaddy's to check it out and partake with you. Are you part of the Smooth Jazz Summer Nights concerts at Penn's Landing? Also there are rumors that you are on a AM Radio, is this true? If not will you endeavor to do so? Take care and much success.

Ray Quiachon

Mike-- BIG Fan from NJ...glad to see you're keeping the Dream Alive! Will definitely hit your site more often...will tell all my contemps & hope to see you at Warm Daddys....be well.

Greg

Hi Michael -

I'm addicted. My work day is now bearable because of ijazzglobal.com.
I do love the smooth jazz and have been a huge fan for years, but the chill lounge has a hold on me that I cant shake.

We'll be over at Wiggins Park in a few weeks, and down at Penns Landing soon after...
Hope to see you soon

Hi Michael,

I'm still staggering from the loss of WNUA Smooth Jazz here in Chicago two days ago. Then I found, to my great fortune, that I stumbled on you.

OMG, it was like finding a Oasis in the middle of a vast desert. I had to stop and take a long, refreshing drink of the "cool water" there and stay for a much needed rest. You are a life saver in this ocean of music emptiness.

Thank you for keeping the music alive. Keep up the good work, we are counting on you.

Best regards, Sue

Hello, I just discovered your station. I am enjoying it very much. You probably have heard that WNUA in Chicago is off the air as of today. I will be streaming your station from now on. No Clear Channel stations will be on my radio anymore.

Hi Michael:

I’m sitting here on the job listening to Sachal Vasandini  - “Naked as We Came”  and its wonderful. Just can’t thank u enuf for this station. I tell everybody I know who likes jazz cause I want them to be as happy on the job as I am. Thanks so much. We’ll be listening.

Carolyn

Greetings & Salutations to 'the best voice in smooth jazz'.  I am so excited to see the rapid growth of ijazzglobal.com and so happy that you will be keeping our favorite sound in the area.

I just checked to see what's going on and it looks like we will have a good summer ahead.  I hope to see Jeff Kashiwa at Warmdaddy's - hope to say hi to you as well.

Please add me to ijazzglobal's mailing list for events.

Best wishes for continued success.
Birdie

Michael,
I am a big fan of your show (when on WJJZ) and of ijazzglobal.
Thanks for bringing the REAL music back to Philly :-)
Eliza

Michael

I just found your site on iTunes.  Great sound.  I went to your website.  Keep the sound alive.  It is a shame broadcast radio can’t support this type of music.  Best of luck, I will be listening to this station at work all day.

Mark Andrew

South Jersey

I was so so sad to hear that WJJZ is no longer with us, however I'm glad to hear that you are still promoting smooth jazz.  I can't even listen to 97.5...  My husband and I hope to catch you at the next jazz venue. (he was pretty upset too)  I was suprised you guys weren't at Warmdaddys when Marion Meadows was up there you must a great, very personable show.

Laura H Kesler

Hi Michael,
Fabulous job on the site!
We had met at the Dave Koz concert at the Commerce Bank Center last December. Keep up the great work and let me know if you need any help in promotions.
My Best,
Michael C. Senisch, PA-C

Bridgeton, NJ

Thank you so much for bringing back the sound of jazz to the Philly area!!!  Losing our jazz station (106) once was horrible but to lose it twice (97.5) was devastating!   Keep up the good work.  Love Ya!

Linda

Listening to ijazzglobal.com from Tel Aviv.  Sounding Good!!
It is Passover in Tel Aviv.  Only kosher items are served in this
hotel and many places since Passover began at sundown last evening.
That means no products with yeast (so much for the beer).  By the way,
the weather is beautiful, though I will nap much of the afternoon
away, having flown all night to get to this eastern end of the Med.

Jack

Thank you so much for this.  I just logged on and I am hooked.  I will spread the word.  Nice job!!

I belive I recieved information on your site while attending a show (Najee) at the Lyman Center @ Southern CT State University, New Haven CT.

Thanks
Ginne-Rae Clay

Michael, Michael, Michael ,

Welcome back Smooth Master!! I was so glad to get the e-mail about ijazzglobal.com, I'm streaming right now. Also set the site as one of my favorites. I'm glad you are streaming your smooth sounds to Smooth Jazz lovers like myself all over the globe, that is so SMOOTH! My wife and I were really bummed out when they took 97.5 fm (the old 106.1 fm) off the air, it was really the only station we enjoyed listening to here in the Lehigh Valley, PA. For some reason the radio stations here are caught in a "time warp!" All they play is hard rock, oldies, or rap c*#p. Too bad, they are really missing out on some wonderful music!

Keep up the good work Michael and I wish you much success with ijazzglobal.com.

David Mack

Thanks for all you do...I know much of it is for no other reason than the love of it all...
LMO

Michael,

I am sooooo pleased to find you on my computer.  Hopefully you and your staff have found a place where they will not bother you again.  (meaning no insults)

Please continue your good work and if possible, tell me if you can, are you on direct TV's cyberspace channels?

Martin

Congrats...you rock Michael!!!
I just went on the site...looks VERY cool...
I will let Pam know...she is Mindi Abair's fan club President I met on the cruise...
We are becoming quick friends...her radio station in FL just shut down Friday
without notice...she will really enjoy this...

Maybe the station letting you go was more of a blessing than I was thinking it might be...
I wish I was close enough to attend the fun events you host...keep up the great work...
hugs and thanks so much for all you do,
LMO

Dear Mike,

Hope this finds you well. Thank goodness for your site. Ft. Myers,FL lost their station on Friday. The world of smooth jazz is shrinking. How horrible...especially for the artists.

Best,

Pam

I 'm in a wi-fi cafe next to our hotel here in Kowloon, Hong Kong listening to ijazzglobal.com.........pretty cool!!!

Jack

Thanks for the update about your new venture.I sure do miss you and WJJZ. I had to get an i-pod to listen to the music we both enjoy.

WHMASZ

Dear Mr. Tozzi,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to wish you all the luck in the world with ijazzglobal.com. I just received your email today.  I enjoyed listening to you and the music on both smooth jazz stations that existed in Philadelphia. Since 97.5fm has changed, I have been stuck listening to the various jazz radio stations on iTunes, but now that I found your stream, I’ll have that on all the time at work.

As I am typing this, a Jamie Cullum tune is playing, and let me just say I think it is great you are including vocalists from today on your station.

Thanks for your time, and take care.

Len

I AM HAPPY TO HEAR FROM YOU

PLEASE KEEP THOSE CARDS AND LETTERS COMING

Michael,

A friend turned us onto ijazzglobal.com, so we have found you again
and it is so good to see you still involved with this great piece of
the musical world, Smooth Jazz.  We have missed you with the demise of
smooth jazz on 97.5.

We do not have any advertising to offer you, but from Bethlehem, PA we
just wanted to say "hello" and thanks for keeping smooth jazz in our
lives, albeit through a totally different format.

Best wishes.

HELLO MIKE , I WOULD  LIKE TO JUST SAY THANK YOU FOR KEEPING MY JAZZ ALIVE AND KICKING , WITHOUT JAZZ IT IS A BAD DAY FOR ME .

MIKE I HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU JAM MORE  WITH THE WAY THINGS WAS DONE WHEN YOU WAS AT  106.1, WHEN YOU WAS THERE THE MUSIC WAS ALWAYS RIGHT AND IT KEEP A PERSON JAMMING ALL DAY LONG  AND ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE OLD 106.1 STAFF WAS THE BOMB, WELL JUST TO LET YOU KNOW I LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND PLEASE  KEEP IT UP AND ALSO I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU DO MORE FOR THE INTERCITY OF PHILADELPHIA , I THINK YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO HELP STOP SOME OF THE CRIMES IN PHILADELPHIA BY THE WAY OF JAZZ, BUT I HAVE COME UP WITH AWAY TO HELP AS WELL AND IF ME AND YOU CAN GET TOGETHER AND TALK ONE DAY , I THINK YOU WILL LOVE TO HEAR WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND GOD BLESS.
GREG

Hello Mr. Tozzi,

First I want to thank you for keeping Smooth Jazz alive! I to, as many other listeners, have listened to you since the first days of WJJZ 106.1 through the last days of WJJZ 97.5. One difference is that I am from Minnesota. I had to mostly rely on the streaming format of the stations. But whenever my wife and I came back to the Philly area to visit her family, or when I came out to Philly on business I would lock in WJJZ and listen to nothing else while I was there. We also enjoyed seeing you and Steve Cole at the free concert down on the Delaware River waterfront in 2005 while on vacation. The memories are still etched in my mind.

Just as Philadelphia, and the other areas, we also lost our Smooth Jazz outlet. I have to believe Minnesota (Minneapolis/St. Paul) was one of the last areas to get Smooth Jazz over the airwaves, and was probably one of the first to lose the format too. We had two different Smooth Jazz stations, KMJZ from 1995-1998, and KJZI from 2003-2006. Just as we got attached to the stations they would yank them from us.

Finding ijazzglobal was so fantastic! ijazzglobal plays great Smooth Jazz! It would be really great if you could find your way onto the digital radio scene, and even bump off Sirius/XM’s Watercolors, that way we could take ijazzglobal along with us in the car anywhere we went across the country…one can dream.

Anyway, thank you once again for this great site! Best wishes in this new endeavor and may you have a long and wonderful ride.

Sincerely,

Tom Martins

Hi Michael!
Good to see you are doing smooth jazz on the internet.  Now we can
hear your work everywhere. Thanks for the great WJJZ times and
will look forward to your new endevours.

Hi,
I discovered your ijazz stream and I like it so far !  My question is this:  How can i find out what I am listening to (as I listen to it)?

Thanks a bunch,

Can't tell you how much I really enjoy ijazzglobal.com!  Streaming is incredible (I miss WJJZ too) and the videos you're sharing from the Smooth Music Cruise is fabulous!  Thanks for sharing your vision and your passion with us all!"
Rene Taniguchi

Nick Colionne's video has to be some of the best sounding audio via a video that I've every heard. Micheal Tossi is really on his game with this move . I hope it can continue.

Tim

Michael--
It's great to have you online! The music sounds great! I've been a fan
since 106.1 and I'm sure I'm not the only one glad to have you back...
Keep up the great work...

Tom

Michael, I can't tell you how pleased I am to see that you are such a fighter, talk about a guy who just won't quite. Not only that I must say we have missed you tremendously, it seems you are the only person in Philly that speaks our language. Once again Drivetime is offering it's services to you and your new endeavor. What ever you got going we want to be a part of it. I would also like to mention that our tune Getin' Witit with guest artist Bob Baldwin has national distribution on ITunes, CDBaby.com and iindierhythm.com  It's also being played on Bob's radio show "New Urban Jazz Lounge". I’m sending you an MP3 if you deem it worthy by all means slip it into rotation. Presently I'm constructing an email blast to let all our fans know your back. Anything I can do to help you just let me know my friend, lets get this party started..........

Michael,

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear jazz all day long at work.  It's extremely refreshing.  Mike this couldn't happen without your inspiration to keep jazz alive and healthy.  I know you don't make all of this happen by yourself, so to your team, CONGRATULATIONS!!!  Outstanding job to all who are involved in front and behind the scenes.  God Bless You all and may this be an outrageously prosperous year for all.  See you at Warmdaddy's.

Love you man,

Bo "Chico" from ZOE'.

Michael,
Long time Smooth Jazz listener from Philly (since the first day 106.1 signed on). Glad to hear your streaming !!!! ... Thanks ...
It looks like the internet is going to be the future for formats like "Smooth Jazz". Keep up the good work.
Ed

Love this station since Smooth Jazz left Philadelphia.  I have “XM” but  I’m listening to your music because it’s better.  My suggestion is to display a real time update to the song and the artist.

That’s it!!!

Regards,

Jim Becker

Patricia’s mom here.  Art and I are so happy to hear that you are up
and running once again.   Your web site looks fantastic.    I truly enjoy

very best.

Hi Michael,
My name is Stacie...I was a longtime WJJZ Smooth Jazz listener and am so
glad I found your new on-Line music channel!   It sounds GREAT, lots of
music I haven't heard in a longtime that I've been dying to hear again!
Will you be doing your midday show on the broadcast again soon?

Also, I have one music request, if I could hear more Craig Chaquico it
would be JUST fabulous!  "Cafe Carnival" is one of my favs.

Thanks again!

I was a big fan of the radio station and was crushed when closed.  This site has made me one happy little jazz lover.  I just listened to a vocal on the song "The Nearness of You".  It was played on February 11 @ Approximately 11:54 AM.  Can you let me know who the vocalist was?  I would love to get more of his music.

Thank you for your help.  I am spreading the work, like mad!

 Hey Michael!
Its great to hear that you are  back! I'll be looking forward to seeing you at Warmdaddys. It's been rough gonging not having a smooth jazz station to listen too in Philly. I've been listening to WHAT AM they play standards, and I've also been listening to a lot of Cd's. Thanks for the email, I'll definitely be tuning in.

Much love and success to you my friend.....Brenda

I am an old listener from the wjjz station in Philly, listened to it all the time. Since they knocked you off air,Philly is starveing for a station like you now have.I just happened to find u through an email I received. GREAT to hear the old sound,I`m in heaven. Needless to say I will spread the word,ur on!!!     TY Alan Jones  pitz@verizon.net...Tell the crew Hello and keep up the great tunes!!

Michael...great to see you have things up and running.  You have no idea how scathing the emails were that I sent to the radio stations I felt betrayed us "adult" listeners, it's real good to have you back

Best wishes to the rest of the crew and your family.  All the years I've listened to you, I always wondered if your wife's first name is "The Lovely" because whenever you'd mention her you would call her "The lovely Mrs. Tozzi" :-()

a toast to you and your dedication,

Just a note to say THANKS for picking up where radio left off... IJAZZGLOBAL is wonderful!  And I am so glad your playlists are jazz and not all R&B or Blues.  Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but smooth jazz is a different animal and I think you are representing well!!

It's so hard living here where the only really big jazz happening is in Reading.  I was listening to a streaming video last night of Kirk Whalum from Seldom Blues in Detroit... I'm jealous!  What a great place... although I do have to say, Spyro Gyra at the Sellersville was awesome last week... Love those little venues!

Thanks again, Michael

Hi Michael! I think it's WONDERFUL that you've embarked upon this musical venture which is bound to be a great success!! I'm so happy for you! It was a creative & wise decision indeed! You're able to reach the ENTIRE PLANET now! BRAVO!!!

Thank God I had connected with the members of DRIVETIME and had them place me on their email list - because they kept me posted with all that had happened and is happening - this is how I am aware of your new success! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! WHAT A WISE BUSINESS MOVE - UPSTAGING THOSE BASTARDS WHO THOUGHT THEY COULD BRING WJJZ OUT OF THE PICTURE FOR LIFE!!! YOU SHOWED THEM WHO'S BOSS, MICHAEL!!! BRAVO!!!

I will be at Warmdaddy's to hear DriveTime & to get information from you regarding your wonderful internet radio station! Will you have an XL T-shirt on hand for me to wear so that I can "advertise" for you? Please bring souvenirs - I will be collecting them and also giving them to my friends to get them turned on, o.k.?

I'M VERY HAPPY FOR YOU!! I admire Mavericks & Warriors!!! And that's what you are!

Sincerely,

MICHELE S. EADES

"Hey Michael thanks for adding me. Its great having you back at WarmDaddys. Love the new web site! I've been telling everyone about www.ijazzglobal.com I listen at work all the time.
Brenda

Hi Michael

I’m a Smooth Jazz fan for many years and when WJJZ went off the air the second time it was like someone died. Its still hard to believe that neither Philly or NYC can support a full time jazz station. As I travel by car up and down the east coast I realize other areas have also shut down. Now I’m streaming live and it’s a beautiful thing!

If it was your idea, a million thanks, if not, please pass my appreciation on. If I see you at the Berks Jazz Fest I will introduce myself. Thanks again.

Mike,

In Narita Japan on a layover, and in my hotel room streaming the music feed on ijazzglobal.com and just loving the sounds.

Explored the web site and really like what you have done. The videos from the cruise are excellent!!

Thanks,

Hap Carpenter

Hi Michael! I used to listen to you on Philly's Smooth Jazz station on my pc in Jacksonville, FL while at work. Was majorly disappointed when that station changed formats. My sister, in Easton, had been listening to your station, which is how I came to listen as well, since my local smooth jazz station here decided the listening area needed yet another flippin' HIP HOP station! (bleah!!!)

Started listening at work to the Orlando Smooth Jazz, but now that my sister sent me the link to ijazzglobal, that's all I have on now.

So glad to see your name connected with it!

Anyroad, Onwards and Upwards!

Thanks for keeping Smooth Jazz on the air!!!!

Deep Peace,

Missy

Michael,

Thank goodness you're back!! I've been suffering in the Black Hole of
Broadcasting here in the Lehigh Valley way too long. I used to listen
to Smooth Jazz from Philly all the time til all of a sudden, poof,
you were gone (twice!). Listened on my ancient Grundig tube radio out
in the patio room, what a great sound! Now, sadly, it is silent as
there is no decent radio station around here anymore (IMHO). Then I
got an email that you were back on line, was so happy. I emailed my
sister in FLA to tell her the good news (she got hooked too and
missed you when you left the airwaves). Now we're both happy campers
listening to Smooth Jazz "together" even tho we're many miles apart.
Thanks again, keep up the good work!

Judy in Easton, PA

PS  Now if I could only figure out how to get ijazzglobal on my
Grundig...sigh.
